Kevin Durant might be tired of the narrative of his potential departure from the Golden State Warriors, but his own family isn't helping matters in any way. Durant's brother, Tony, was caught with a relatively provocative comment that could be a window into KD's mindset approaching free agency.

After posting some photo highlights of Tuesday night's ring ceremony, Durant was congratulated by many of his peers before Tony jumped in with a bomb of a comment.

“Yessir brother!!!! Filling the hand up before we get outta here!”

The comment doesn't stand out among all the verified accounts, but it is perhaps the most significant in deciphering the two-time Finals MVP and his plans for free agency. Maybe KD's brother is referring to getting five rings to actually fill up that hand, but most people won't take it that way.

Teams like the New York Knicks, LA Clippers and Brooklyn Nets have freed up enough cap space to sign a max-level star this upcoming summer, with the Knicks having the most to offer due to the intrinsic connection to Durant's business manager, Rich Kleiman, a native New Yorker who hopes to run the Knicks' front office one day.

Many have argued Durant's pass through the Bay Area was a way to fortify his business ventures while acquiring the championship rings that had escaped him throughout his nine-year tenure in the league before joining the Warriors as a free agent in 2016.

Others are hopeful he parts ways with Golden State to put an end to the reign of terror the Warriors have ensnared the NBA in, winning three of the last four NBA titles and now en route for another.

Durant has been noncommittal when talking about his free-agency plans, claiming only to focus on this season and the pursuit of a three-peat with his current teammates. But judging by this fire-starter, it won't be long before he's faced with many other questions.
