Stephen Curry's Under Armour brand could soon get the GOAT treatment, as the Golden State Warriors star could soon become his very own brand.

According to Let's Go Warriors, the two-time MVP could have his own brand become a subsidiary under the UA umbrella, much like Michael Jordan made the Jumpman logo and Jordan Brand independent of Nike's swoosh:

“I've been told by a ‘sneakerhead' source in China that Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry will soon have his own brand under the umbrella of Under Armour, just like how Michael Jordan has his Jordan Brand at Nike.”

His signature SC30 shoes have undergone a rebranding, now incorporating the “S” and the “C” into one loop while adapting the “3” in Roman numerals and keeping the “0” as part of the loop.

His new signature sneaker, the Curry 8, is expected to hit the market this month, though they will be little more expensive than the usual $140 price tag. The new signature sneakers, as shown above, are expected to cost $160 at launch.

The technology inside the sneaker will differ from that of past iterations, though still providing a similar lockdown system from the previous models.

If Stephen Curry locks down his very own brand, it would be yet another iconic move for the Warriors superstar, one that would propel him to greater heights in the sneaker business and even allow him to sign other NBA players to his very own sneaker brand.
