The league-leading Golden State Warriors are once again having a jaw-dropping regular season. They don’t possess an immaculate record, but the way the ball moves in the Warrior offense is a thing of beauty, making them the monster that the rest of the league feared would become.

Chemistry is certainly not an issue with this team and tons of credit go to Steve Kerr, for his ever masterful command of his wards, and Stephen Curry, for allowing his new running mate to get comfortable early on by putting his ego aside and commitment up front.

On the other end, the Bay Area team has shut down critics with elite defensive numbers to boot. Kevin Durant has emerged as an above average shot blocker that goes very well alongside a top defender such as Draymond Green, fueling their well-oiled defense.

The firepower that everyone’s been witnessing is unbelievable, but is this group already better than the tight-knit crew that rampaged their way to a historical run last season?

Andrew Bogut’s paint presence is always hard to replicate, but Durant has stepped up in protecting the rim, and JaVale McGee, no matter how many Shaqtin’ a Fool appearances he gets featured in, is still an uber athletic and very long seven-footer. That should matter, right?

Come postseason, everything gets more difficult. The bottom dwellers will no longer make this team look better by being ran out of the building with ease. Instead, tough-minded powerhouses are eagerly awaiting their crack on what many believe is the team to beat this season.

Does this new-look Warrior team have what it takes to keep up with the adjustment contest that is a seven-game series? It’s very much debatable at this point. They still have to face the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers that also made their own improvements.
