Klay Thompson has had a lot of time to himself these past two years, albeit for the wrong reason. Still, the Golden State Warriors guard didn't let the adversity affect his other passion.

Thompson is known for his laser-sharp focus in games. Now, the Warriors star opens up about his journalistic side that also requires the same amount of concentration.

Via Kerith Burke of NBC Sports Bay Area:

“I love to write. I started documenting how I feel on the court. What adversity the team is facing. How I’m feeling mentally.”

“I just think when you write down your thoughts on paper, it's like a decompression method. To be able to read and write is an incredible gift, and I've been trying to sharpen my mind in the times where I can't be my athletic self.”

Klay Thompson hopes to print his own book in the future. The safe bet is this venture of his will be as successful as his other endeavors.

On the court, he holds three NBA championships under his belt as one of the main cogs in the Warriors' dynasty. Outside of basketball, he's earned multiple endorsement deals, a movie appearance, and also founded a company in Just Live CBD.

The Warriors shooting guard still has years left in his NBA career. He'll be playing more competitive seasons alongside Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, which could translate to more titles. Nevertheless, he's up for more eventful chapters in his career.

Klay Thompson's written masterpiece will take time, but it's most probably going to be worth the wait.
