Stephen Curry is the 145th NBA player to knock down 15,000 career-points.

The 30-year-old Curry, who's in his 10th year in the league, is averaging 23.3 points for his career on 47.8 percent shooting from the field and 43.8 percent from downtown.

Given his infamous shooting ability, one would assume that the Warriors superstar has scored over 20,000 points like most offensive talents like him. However, it wasn't until his fourth year in the league where he averaged over 20 points per game.

In his first three years in the league, Stephen Curry took some time to get acclimated to the NBA-level play. On top of this, he only played 26 games in his third season due to an injury.

Up until now, Curry has struggled with various injuries which pretty much prevented him from playing more games then he should have. However, his shooting mightily improved and is now considered to be the best marksman in the whole world.

Apart from his work ethic, credit should also be given to Warriors head coach Steve Kerr for knowing how to utilize Curry's talents, resulting in multiple championships and the formation of the latest NBA dynasty.
