Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors are starting to take issue with the number of technical fouls called on him.

Green feels he's being punished too easily by officials. This season he was called for two techs in the first five games of the season.

According to CSN Bay Area, the Warriors decided directly to take up Green's case with the NBA hoping to come to an understanding with the league's discipline board.

“They requested an audience with Kiki Vandeweghe, the NBA’s discipline czar and the man who ultimately decided to suspend Green for Game 5 of the NBA Finals, who was at Staples Center for the Warriors-Lakers game Friday night.

“Warriors general manager Bob Myers did speak with Vandeweghe, according to a team source. Coach Steve Kerr certainly believes a discussion is warranted, expressing hope that a meeting with Vandeweghe clears the air.

“Green picked up two technical fouls in the first five games, a rate that would result in 33 over the 82-game regular season.”

Both of Green's technicals came during the heated match between the Warriors and the Oklahoma City Thunder, but they both stemmed from celebrations during the game.

Last season officials began looking more closely at Green due to his tendency to flail and kick during games.

After meeting with league officials, Green didn't seem too optimistic about there being any changes.

“I don’t know if anything will change, and I can’t do anything about it. All I can do play. Just play my game and hope for the best.”

He will have to work hard to tone down his emotions if he wants to keep unwanted attention off of himself during games.
