The Golden State Warriors' trio of rookies had a little bit of fun recently. Forward Alen Smailagic, an 18-year-old from Serbia, treated co-rookies Eric Paschall and Jordan Poole to some delicacies from his native country.

The taste testing received some mixed reviews from the two American rookies, but at the end of the day, the trio seemed to have a blast bonding over food:

Poole, a 6-foot-5 guard from the University of Michigan, is arguably the most highly touted prospect among the three youngsters. The 20-year-old was drafted 28th overall by the Warriors in the recently concluded draft, and he has since already signed a rookie-scale deal with the team for the next four years.

As a sophomore with Michigan lasts season, Poole averaged 12.8 points (on 43.6 percent shooting), 2.0 3-pointers, 3.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.1 steals in 33.1 minutes per contest.

On the other hand, Smailagic took a slightly different route in his NBA journey. The 18-year-old spent last season with Golden State's G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, where he put up 9.1 points (on 49.7 percent from the floor), 4.1 rebounds, 0.9 steals, and 0.9 blocks in 17.4 minutes per ballgame. The 6-foot-10 forward was originally selected by the New Orleans Pelicans with the 39th overall pick, but ended up with the Warriors via draft day trade.

Paschall is a 6-foot-9 forward hailing from Villanova University. In his senior year for the Wildcats last season, the 22-year-old averaged 16.5 points (on 44.7 percent shooting), 1.9 3-pointers, 6.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.5 blocks per contest. He was selected by Golden State 41st overall.
