Since his trip to China to promote his partnership with Anta, Golden State Warriors All-Star guard Klay Thompson has been on the wrong side of some memorable moments while touring the country.
It didn't take Thompson this time around to experience that social media shame once again as he was schooled in a game of pop-a-shot by a little girl.
It was an unfair matchup for Thompson that he simply had no chance of competing with her as she had down a quick flawless technique that she simply was not missing a single shot. Meanwhile, the 28-year-old was operating at a much slower pace while missing several shots that only compounding things for him in the matchup.
This isn't as embarrassing as the other moments that Thompson has previously had in China, but it doesn't help given her age and how badly he was beaten at the game. She was clearly a pro at it, which only made it look worse the further things went along as she gained an insurmountable separation on him. He simply had no realistic chance of beating her at the game given her speed and accuracy of the shots that she put up.
There could likely be many more moments like this ahead for Thompson as he continues his tour in China — where he could be put in some interesting propositions that may only add to his building legacy of “China Klay.” In other words, there will be plenty more situations ahead where it could social media viral.
