This is the China Klay Thompson we all know and love. When he's not on the court surrounded by legions of his Chinese fans, he's modeling an interesting outfit, to say the least. But there's no denying it, he is working the catwalk here. His walk is a bit odd, but once he's front and center, his pose does all the talking.
Man, it must be fun to be on the Warriors right now. Every other player and team in the league is staring down a dynasty with no end in sight, and Klay's thinking, “Should I go with the gold or the silver boa?”
The newspaper hat is a nice touch that really brings the outfit together. With just the hula skirt, silver boa, and pink whatever, the outfit wasn't really complete.
China Klay Thompson has become some sort of mythical figure during the NBA offseason. While everyone is focused on figuring out how free agency will shake out, Thompson is in China living his best life. While other NBA superstars are banging their heads against a wall trying to figure out how they can beat the Warriors, Klay is playing dress up like he's five years old again. He looks to be without a care in the world, and for good reason. He just won his second straight NBA title and third in four years.
Everyone outside of Oakland must be sick. While the NBA world gets turned upside down due to possible trade scenarios and free agency questions, Klay is on the other side of the world just enjoying his offseason.
