The Golden State Warriors just stole one from the Chicago Bulls, 129-128 thanks to a game-winning three. But somehow, the last shot didn't go to Stephen Curry. Instead, the hero was his brother-in-law Damion Lee.

Watch the magical sequence here:

All eyes were clearly on Stephen Curry for this play. With the Warriors down two, with just enough time to get one final shot off, it seemed like a textbook situation for a patented Stephen Curry three. But with Curry being the lone center of defensive attention, he was unsurprisingly denied the pass off the inbound.

But everyone knows that the most dangerous man for these late-game possessions is the person inbounding the ball. Lee took advantage of the attention Curry drew, passing it to Kevon Looney, who shoveled it back to him for an open look at the top of the key.

To the relief of Golden State Warriors fans everywhere, Lee got it to fall through. He finished the game with 12 points, but none bigger than his final three. Stephen Curry himself had a strong performance, closing with 36 points, 6 assists, and a perfect 9 of 9 from the free-throw line. His immaculate performance at the charity stripe resulted in him surpassing fellow Warriors icon Rick Barry for most consecutive free-throws made without a miss.

Damion Lee's shot couldn't have come at a better time. The Warriors have been in dire straits after their two blowout losses against the Nets and Bucks. With Draymond Green still held out from playing and Klay Thompson sidelined until next season, the Warriors have been subpar in just about every aspect. But with this win, and Green's impending return, maybe Golden State can turn things around.
