The Golden State Warriors finished their game against the Oklahoma City Thunder sans Draymond Green. The All-Star forward got ejected after serving his second technical foul for lobbing the ball toward the referee.

While the action may seem innocent, Green's reputation did not help his cause as the officials appear to have a special ability to see through the Warriors forward's real intent.

It was easy to tell that the referee was already looking the other way even before Warriors forward threw the ball. While the referee continued with his call, his co-official wasn't letting Green get away with this one, calling a technical right away.

It was his second of the evening and that sent him straight to the locker room with a little over eight minutes left in the ball game.

The Warriors had played catch up for most of the contest against a determined Thunder squad, who, despite losing Carmelo Anthony to an ankle sprain in the first half, relied heavily on the All-Star tandem of Russell Westbrook (34 points, nine rebounds, nine assists) and Paul George (38 points, five rebounds, three assists, six steals). Meanwhile, Green was his usual across-the-board self, finishing with five points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and four blocks.

While his loss was non-factor on the night, as the Warriors were already getting pummeled by the Thunder at home, the real concern here lies in the fact that Green has already committed 13 technical fouls this early in the season; three more and he gets an automatic suspension.
