Draymond Green had an emphatic response to TNT analyst Charles Barkley after the latter voiced his desire to punch the Golden State Warriors forward in the face upon seeing his antics in Game 2.

This wasn't the first time the two have been at odds, but it is certainly the most confrontational statement made by Barkley in all his years of broadcasting this current era of the Warriors.

“I think a lot of guys talk on TV, stand behind a microphone and TV screen,” said Green. “The fact of the matter is — if you feel that strongly about it, he's seen me a million times — if you feel that strongly about it, then punch me in my face when you see me.”

“If you're not gonna punch me in my face when you see me, then shut up.”

Green not only celebrated an and-one opportunity right in the face of Nikola Mirotic, but also bodied up Anthony Davis throughout the entire game, even going to the ground in one occasion.

The Warriors have dealt with plenty of criticism and doubt from Barkley's part ever since they were under Mark Jackson, but this became the one ingredient that made the cauldron boil, as Green didn't mince words in his response.

“It's no different than someone sitting behind a computer screen tweeting ‘oh, I'll knock you out' and you've never seen me in life,” Green added. “He's seen me a bunch of times and he's seen me again this year. Punch me in the face when you see me, if not — no one cares what you would've done. You're old and it is what it is.”
