Things get heated up between Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green and Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley on Wednesday night.

Beverley baited Green into an offensive foul early in the third quarter of Game 5. Draymond was obviously not happy with the call and immediately went to the referee. Interestingly, he didn't pay attention to Beverley who was lying on the floor and stepped over the Clippers guard.

Sure enough, the act didn't sit well with Pat and immediately tried to confront Green before he was stopped by his LA teammates.

The series between the Warriors and Clippers has been physical and chippy right from the get-go. Not to mention that Patrick Beverley is known for his trash-talking and antics to get under his opponent's skin.

To remember, Beverley and Kevin Durant were ejected in Game 1 of the first round series after a late scuffle between the two. While the two teams didn't make a big deal out of it, it was clear that Beverley's highly physical style worked against the Warriors.

Of course, Draymond Green is the one to blame for stepping over Beverley. However, the Warriors will likely remind him to avoid getting caught up into Beverley's game. After all, they already know what happened when one of them did it.
