As expected, the first meeting between the Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder this was not without heightened emotions, as Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook had their own heated exchange.

The two went face-to-face after the reigning MVP almost stole the ball, and many wondered what exactly Durant had to say to his former teammate.

Their exchange lasted almost 15 seconds long, and some fans who watched the live broadcast on TV read the Warriors star forward’s lips, as he uttered words to Westbrook that won't make momma proud.

Kevin Durant may have said the line furiously and was pumped up after the incident, but Russell Westbrook took on the challenge head-on. He was almost unstoppable after that, as he led the charge for the Thunder to further build on their lead. Westbrook finished the game with a season-high 34 points, to go along with 10 rebounds and nine assists, barely missing out on another triple-double performance.

After the game, the Warriors' All-Star forward made it known that their confrontation was just part of the game and that he has “nothing but love” for Westbrook.

For what it's worth, their next meetings will only be more competitive, and it will be very interesting to see if it will be as fiery as Wednesday night, or even be raised to a higher level.
