Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson appeared to have no idea what he was responding to when asked a question at halftime during Friday night's game against the Sacramento Kings.

The Warriors picked up a nice 130-125 win in Sacramento, and a big reason why was their excellent start on the offensive side of the court.

Thompson and company scored 42 points in the first quarter and finished with 76 points at the half to take a 12-point lead into the break.

And that's when the star guard was asked what sounded like a pretty simple question about the ball movement on offense.

His response? Well, we're not exactly sure. Listen for yourself:

If you can decipher what he's saying here, then you should probably be a detective because this one is pretty hard to solve.

Either way, it was indeed a good outing for the Warriors on offense, with Thompson finishing with 27 points and nine rebounds.

Steph Curry led the way with 35 points and five made 3-pointers on the night, and Kevin Durant wasn't too far behind with 33 points while going 4 of 8 from beyond the arc.

Golden State went 15 of 40 from long range, which helped the team rebound from the 20-point loss to the Toronto Raptors a few days ago.

Next up for the Warriors is a home matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night at Oracle Arena.
