The Golden State Warriors celebrated their NBA Championship on Tuesday with a parade through Oakland, and for some of the players it was a lot of work. Klay Thompson was getting interviewed at the end of the parade, and he had only one thing on his mind, getting himself a sandwich.

For the third straight Warriors championship parade, Thompson was on the first bus through the parade, and it's a job that Thompson knows he must take seriously because he sets the tone for the rest of the parade.

“It sets the tone, just trying to be happy,” Klay Thompson said via SF Gate. “Go out there, spray some bottles of champagne, shake some hands, smile a lot.”

Thompson seemed to be having some fun on the parade route, but he didn't get as crazy as some of the other players like Jordan Bell, who ran out of Hennessy so he got a bottle from a fan in attendance.

Thompson was asked about some of the team's dust up's and he said it's just because of how close the team was.

“Guys get into small bickerments,” he said. “We rub shoulders a lot, we spend way too much time together. So it's gonna be like a brother you love. You're gonna fight a couple times, but it's stuff that's pretty normal for any team trying to go through this.”

There was no fighting on Tuesday though, as it was all smiles for the team. Hopefully, Thompson was able to get home and eat that sandwich that he wanted after a hard days work.
