Richard Jefferson and Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr are both Arizona guys, so the former NBA forward and champion decided to have some fun at the expense of Kerr with Warriors rookie Eric Paschall.

Jefferson tried to bait Paschall into trashing Kerr on IG live, but the Warriors youngster didn't fall for Jefferson's trick:

In what has been a terrible season for the Warriors, Eric Paschall has been one bright spot. Before the NBA suspended the 2019-20 season due to COVID-19, Paschall was averaging 14.0 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists for the Warriors in 27.6 minutes per contest. He was shooting 49.7 percent from the field, 28.7 percent from beyond the arc and 77.4 percent from the free-throw line.

The Warriors had the worst record in the NBA prior to the season getting suspended. For the first time in the Steve Kerr era, the Dubs will miss the playoffs and have a lottery pick in the draft.

However, the Warriors should be postseason contenders once again next season. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson will be in the backcourt again, and Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green and Eric Paschall will anchor the frontcourt.

The Dubs selected Paschall with the 41st overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. The New York native played his college ball at Fordham and Villanova.

Richard Jefferson, who won the 2016 championship over Kerr and the Dubs as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers, will have to try harder next time if he wants to get the Warriors swingman to mess up.
