It is usually a rare occurrence for fans to see Stephen Curry dunk the ball. The two-time MVP and NBA champion typically finishes at the rim with finesse, but on Monday night, the Golden State Warriors star proved that he can still dunk the ball with an exclamation point.

On a fastbreak play by the Warriors, Durant attracted the defense as he ran behind the hoop and passed the ball to Curry who then took advantage of the wide-open lane to finish with a dunk.

It wasn't the most spectacular dunk of the year, and it probably wasn't deserving of a special emphasis, but any time Curry dunks the ball, it goes on notice. The exclamation prompted Cavs head coach Tyronn Lue to call a timeout to address their defensive issues, while the Warriors gleefully headed into the huddle.

Kevin Durant was particularly excited when Curry finished with a dunk, putting his amicable relationship with the point guard on display. This interaction shows brilliant chemistry between the two players.

While both players are ball-dominant, they are willing to share the ball when they can, to get extra buckets and confuse the defense. Knowing Curry's troubled injury history with his ankles, it's safe to say that he won't try another dunk soon, but this certainly won't be the last time Durant jumps on the superstar point guard like a young cheerleader.

The Warriors finished off the Cavs, 118-108, to sweep their regular season series this year. They have won seven of their last eight meetings, dating back from last year's Finals.
