Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is making progress with his hand rehab.

While Curry won't play in February, he's now testing his left hand on off-ball tug moves:

Curry broke his hand on Oct. 30 against the Phoenix Suns and underwent his first surgery on Nov. 1. The Warriors star told reporters in November he “definitely” expected to return at some point this season.

Before he got hurt, Curry was putting up 20.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game while shooting 40.9 percent from the field, 24.3 percent from beyond the arc and a perfect 100 percent from the free-throw line.

Curry signed a five-year, $201 million deal with the Warriors back in the summer of 2017. He’s making $40.2 million this season.

The Warriors will miss the playoffs this season for the first time in the Steve Kerr era. Kerr joined the Dubs in the summer of 2014, replacing Mark Jackson.

Some believe Curry should sit out the entire season, but Steph is a competitor and wants to be out there with his teammates if he can play. It’s why Curry is so beloved in Golden State.

After going to the NBA Finals five straight seasons, the Warriors were humbled this season. However, they should be back as a contender in 2020-21 once Curry and Klay Thompson suit up together, when they'll be playing alongside new teammate Andrew Wiggins.
