Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry headed out to play hoops with some random ballers during a block party in Oakland. While the two-time MVP did some damage, he was also scored on.

One of the players from the opposing team knocked down a 3-point shot right in front of Curry. In the next possession, Curry tried to hit one right back but failed.

The Warriors guard did get one back though, hitting a fadeaway shot from mid-range.

The block party at Linden Park was organized by local hip-hop legend Mistah F.A.B. The free-to-attend pick-up game was part of the hip-hop icon's back-to-school event. Mistah F.A.B. later claimed that the Currys' (Steph's wife Ayesha was also in attendance) presence caught him and everyone by surprise.

A Twitter user also noted that the court where the pick-up game occurred was really in the middle of the hood. So Curry's presence was a grand gesture and shows how much he's one with the city.

As seen in the first clip, Curry — despite his stature as one of, if not the greatest shooter in NBA history — is not afraid to get burned. His gesture also shows just how down-to-earth he really is, all amid the success he had.
