Stephen Curry got the chance to relive one of his most memorable buzzer-beaters with the Golden State Warriors, watching one of the highlights that is likely to be played when the time for his induction to the Hall of Fame comes.

The Warriors star watched the crazy buzzer-beater he hit against the Oklahoma City Thunder on February 27, 2016 — pulling up from 32 feet to give his team a comeback win over the Kevin Durant-led Thunder.

The shot was viewed as a clear display of showmanship and self-belief, as Curry still had enough time on the clock to get closer to the rim, instead choosing to pull-up and fire from way beyond the arc, resulting in play-by-play Mike Breen's best “Bang!” of all-time.

But why take such an improbable shot?

“I'd made 11 (3-pointers) already in the game, so I was obviously feeling the rhythm and feel like I could make anything from anywhere,” Curry told Omar Raja of House of Highlights. “I knew the time was running down, we decided not to call timeout, instead push it up in transition and really you just try to make the most simple decision just to get a shot up, and that was it.”

Curry's splash deafened the ears of Breen's colleagues and silenced an entire Chesapeake Energy Arena, as the Warriors had come back from 12-point fourth quarter deficit to win it in overtime, thanks to Curry's 46-point, 12-3-pointer performance.

This was the same game in which Draymond Green and Steve Kerr's halftime locker room tirade took place, which made for many other headlines in what proved to be a playoff-caliber preview of what would go down later that season.
