Golden State Warriors star point guard Stephen Curry is reportedly targeting a March return. And by the looks of his latest workout, Curry is well on his way to achieve that target.

Curry broke his hand on Oct. 30 against the Phoenix Suns and underwent his first surgery on Nov. 1. The Warriors’ floor general told reporters in November he definitely expects to return at some point this season no matter what Golden State's record is. The Dubs currently have the worst record in the NBA.

Before he got hurt, Curry was putting up 20.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game while shooting 40.9 percent from the field, 24.3 percent from beyond the arc and a perfect 100 percent from the free-throw line.

Curry signed a five-year, $201 million contract with the Warriors back in the summer of 2017. He’s making $40.2 million this season.

The Warriors will miss the playoffs this season for the first time in the Steve Kerr era. Kerr joined the Dubs in the summer of 2014, replacing Mark Jackson. Kerr is not used to losing like this either, as he was a winner during his playing career and started off his Dubs tenure with three titles in five years.

After going to the Finals five straight seasons, the Warriors were humbled this 2019-20. However, they should be back as a contender in 2020-21 once Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and newcomer Andrew Wiggins suit up together. Plus, fans can't forget about Draymond Green and promising youngster Eric Paschall.

Some believe Curry should sit out the entire season, but Steph is a competitor and wants to be out there with his teammates if he can play. It’s why Curry is so beloved in Golden State.
