Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry sustained what appears to be a hand-injury after falling awkwardly in their game against the Phoenix Suns.

Curry sustained the injury early in the third quarter as he attacked the basket. He got clipped in between Kelly Oubre Jr. and Aron Baynes, causing him to fall head first. He used his hands to lessen the impact, but he got injured when Baynes fell over him.

Curry grimaced in pain and eventually headed to the locker room to get his hands checked. He was ruled out for the rest of the game. According to the latest updates, the 31-year-old sharpshooter suffered a broken left hand.

Steph finished the game with nine points, five rebounds and six assists in 21 minutes of action. His injury is a huge blow to the Warriors, who found themselves trailing by 29 points at the end of the opening period.

The severity of the injury is yet to be revealed, but it will certainly keep Curry out for at least a month.

The Dubs are already dealing with injuries to Klay Thompson, who tore his ACL during Game 6 of the NBA Finals. Kevon Looney has also been sidelined due to a hamstring issue.
