Turns out, Golden State Warriors superstar point guard Stephen Curry got his shooting skills from his mom and not his dad, former NBA sharpshooter Dell Curry.

During one of the All-Star events on Friday, Curry's mom, Sonya, hit a half-court shot. However, it was unconventional, as she hit it underhanded:

Well, this is pretty impressive. Stephen Curry is participating in the 3-point contest. Instead of getting tips from his dad, who is one of the greatest shooters in NBA history, Steph should probably just talk to his mom so she can help him win the contest.

It's a Curry-filled weekend in Charlotte. Stephen's brother, Portland Trail Blazers guard Seth Curry, is also participating in the 3-point contest. The Curry's grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Dell Curry is the Hornets' TV broadcaster.

Stephen is averaging 28.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game this season for the Warriors. The two-time MVP is shooting 44.4 percent from beyond the arc, sixth in the NBA. His brother is third in the league at 46.5 percent.

Last season, Dell Curry hit a long 3-pointer in Golden State in his suit while watching Steph warm up. Now, Curry's mom is hitting half-court shots underhanded. The Curry's really are the greatest shooting family ever.
