Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is 53 years of age, but that doesn't mean he can't hoop anymore.

Kerr and the Warriors are currently facing a 3-1 deficit in the NBA Finals. On Monday morning, he and his players were inside Scotiabank Arena to practice for Game 5. As the athletes were going through their routines with trainers on the court, Kerr made his way to the halfcourt line. The former Bulls sharpshooter has always been known for his accuracy at range, but this was no ordinary shot attempt. With one underhand swoop, he launched the ball towards the hoop.

Be it by luck or by skill, the ball went straight in. After watching the ball swish through the net, Kerr held his pose for those in attendance:

Kerr has long been recognized as one of the greatest shooters the NBA has ever known — for good reason. The former Arizona Wildcat played in 910 games over the course of his career in the league, racking up averages of 6.0 points on 47.9 percent shooting from the field (45.4 percent from beyond the arc), 1.8 assists, and 1.2 rebounds in 17.8 minutes per outing.

To this day, Kerr's 45.4 percent mark from downtown is good for the No. 1 spot on the NBA's all-time three-point percentage list. For reference, Warriors point guard Stephen Curry holds a career mark of 43.6 percent from beyond the three-point line, which ranks fifth all-time.

Kerr and the Warriors will be back in action on Monday night, when they'll look to stave off elimination by the Raptors. Tip-off inside Scotiabank Arena is set for 9:00 p.m. ET, with ABC having live broadcast coverage.
