Steve Kerr is easily one of the best coaches in the NBA. In his rookie year, Kerr led the Golden State Warriors to their second franchise title in 2015. He followed up with another championship victory in 2017, employing a versatile rotation that relies on heavy ball movement, defense, and shooting to overwhelm opponents. To no surprise, Kerr is an outspoken individual, often commenting on political affairs and events that happen across the league. On Thursday night, the Houston Rockets defeated the San Antonio Spurs 102-91. In one of Harden's signature plays, he dribbled his way into a stepback 3-pointer to seal the game. Believing that the play was a travel, Kerr wasted no time in voicing his frustration of the no-call on Twitter.

“It's an embarrassment. I think the league is so happy with all the scoring that it doesn't want to enforce stuff like that.”

Kerr quickly deleted his tweet and later explained the reasoning behind it to a group of reporters.

“A friend DM'd me and said what do you think about this clip, and I responded to him,” Kerr said. “I hit send, and I was like, ‘Oh no.' I went right over to [assistant coach] Chris DeMarco because I have no idea how to delete a tweet. I rarely even send a tweet, let alone delete one, so I gave it to DeMarco. He deletes it after maybe thirty seconds, and I go, ‘What do you think? Am I going to get away with it?' And he goes, ‘Hell no.'

Kerr luckily avoided a fine from the NBA for criticizing the officials, which is an offense that the NBA takes seriously. Still, this won't be the last time that Kerr has something to say about the current state of NBA officiating.
