The Washington Huskies had a rather nice Saturday. Between stomping on Montana as if it owed Washington money, to all the highlights, things couldn't be any better after a few weeks of college football for that fan base.

Dante Pettis had himself a fantastic individual Saturday, too. Not to be outdone by the crazy pick-6 that also happened in the game, the Washington talent set a Pac-12 punt return record.

Let's look at some fun footage before discussing that:

Pettis took a punt to the house for the seventh time in his career on Saturday night, demoralizing the Montana Grizzlies in one fell swoop.

About that seventh punt return for a touchdown … that is a Pac-12 record. He actually surpassed DeSean Jackson to get that record.

We mentioned a crazy pick-6 earlier in this here post. Without being too much of a tease, here that is:

That was Washington talent Jomon Dotson was running around all over the place, summoning his inner Deion Sanders. Dotson is actually playing on the defensive side of the ball for the first time in his collegiate career, as he was previously a running back.

Washington gunslinger Jake Browning finished the game throwing for 259 yards. By the time it was all said and done, he had two touchdowns to just one interception.

Montana quarterback Reese Philips threw for 123 yards, but was intercepted twice. The Grizzlies also had four drives end in Washington’s half of the field without points and had four total turnovers.

The Huskies would end up winning this barn burner, 63-7.
