Despite the huge fallout resulting from the Jon Gruden email scandal, it still somewhat feels like this is all at the edge of a precipice. Unsurprisingly, the Washington Football Team has now been dragged into this huge mess with a number of its former employees demanding the results of the investigation that heavily involved their team.

The offensive emails that were leaked by the New York Times reportedly came about from the league's investigation into the culture of the Washington Football Team. Ex-team general manager Bruce Allen was at the center of the investigation when several misogynistic and homophobic emails he received from Gruden were unearthed. As a result, former Washington employees are now demanding that they hear Allen's role in all of this:

One of the excerpts from the statement made by the lawyers stated that the NFL has a responsibility to also release any information from the investigation that relates to Allen:

“If the NFL felt it appropriate to release these offensive emails from Jon Gruden, which it obtained during its investigation into the Washington Football Team, it must also release the findings related to the actual target of that investigation.”

Jon Gruden's emails to the former high-ranking Washington Football Team executive are just a handful of the thousands of emails that are being investigated. Some folks believe that these are merely the tip of the iceberg. It wouldn't be a complete shock if there are many more damning messages on there, particularly those that came from Allen himself.
