The Washington Football Team won their fourth straight game Sunday, 17-15, over the Las Vegas Raiders. Despite the victory, not all of the news was good for Washington. According to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, tight end Logan Thomas is expected to be done for the season with a torn ACL and MCL.

Thomas is slated to have the MRI Monday, but it does not sound good for the tight end.

That would be a big blow to Washington as they have climbed back into playoff contention. Washington started the season 2-6 and looked like the season was lost. But following wins versus Tampa Bay, Carolina, Seattle and Las Vegas, they are suddenly in thick of the playoff race.

Logan Thomas had already missed two months of the season due to injury, now it appears as though he may be done for the year.

Thomas led Washington in receiving Sunday with 48 yards on three catches, including Taylor Heinicke's first passing touchdown of the game. The team was excited to have him back, as he can stretch the field up the seams. In his absence, it will be a question mark who will replace him.

Back up tight end Ricky Seals-Jones was inactive Sunday with a hip injury. Seals-Jones has not played since the win vs the Buccaneers.

With the win Sunday, Washington pulled within two games of the division leading Dallas Cowboys. Washington plays Dallas two times over the next three weeks. This division, which was considered to be over weeks ago, might still be up for grabs.
