They pulled off a close victory over the Las Vegas Raiders this afternoon, thanks to a field goal in the final minute to give them a 17-15 win. At 6-6 on the season, they're in a great position to earn a Wild Card spot.
A contract incentive has allowed Heinicke to make some extra cash with each Washington win. He gets $125,000 for every win that he plays 60 percent of the snaps of, meaning he has collected half a million dollars during the streak.

Taylor has been a steady yet unspectacular presence during the winning streak. Across the four victories, Taylor has thrown seven touchdowns and just two picks with an average of 220.3 passing yards per game. In the first win, he led a historically long drive to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The win today was huge for the Football Team, though it wasn't without its misfortunes. Tight end Logan Thomas exited the game with a knee injury.
The next chance for Washington to extend the streak — and for Heinicke to earn some more money — is next Sunday in the Football Team's first matchup of the season against the Dallas Cowboys.
