Washington Football Team rookie running back Antonio Gibson has gotten off to a hot start in Thursday's Thanksgiving matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.

With two minutes remaining in the first quarter, Gibson rushed the ball in for a touchdown, giving the Washington Football Team an early 7-3 lead over the Cowboys.

Gibson, who was selected by the Washington Football Team in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, has already solidified himself as one of the best running back in his draft class. Gibson has scored nine rushing touchdowns this season, which is only four behind the rookie touchdown record.

The 22-year-old running back already has 11 carries for 44 yards in the first half of Thursday's matchup against the Cowboys. The Washington Football Team, who are currently tied for the second seed in the NFC East, will be seeking to win their second consecutive game against the Cowboys.
