LeBron has actually had NFL teams offer him contracts. So let’s explore:

What if LeBron really played in the NFL?

In high school, LeBron was an all-state wide receiver with 103 receptions, 2,065 yards, and 23 touchdowns. With his size and speed, he was a man among boys. James even got an offer from Notre Dame.

But since LeBron grew from a lanky kid into a 6-foot-8, 250-pound giant, he’d have to make the switch to tight end. James puts in the work to be good in all areas of the game.

So no doubt he’d be a beast blocking for the run game or running wild catching TD passes. Besides, there’s a rich history of all-time tight end who’ve played basketball before.

In 2011, during the NBA lockout, the Cowboys and Seahawks even offered LeBron a contract to play tight end.

But if James had chosen the gridiron, he wouldn’t have the longevity he has in the NBA. Still, just imagine trying to prevent LeBron from catching a pass in the end zone. Who’s stopping that?
