The second week of the 2019 NFL season has arrived and the first game has already been completed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pulling off an upset on the road against the Carolina Panthers. One of the most anticipated games of the week will be the Minnesota Vikings heading to Lambeau Field for a rivalry matchup against the Green Bay Packers. That game also has a lot of Fantasy Football intrigue surrounding it.

Both the Packers and Vikings have legitimate Fantasy Football star on their rosters. Unfortunately, it will be a hit or miss type of game for all players involved on the offensive side of the football. The defenses are solid this year, which makes decisions even more difficult.

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are coming off of a 10-3 victory over the Chicago Bears last week. Minnesota defeated the Atlanta Falcons by a final score of 28-12. This game figures to be a battle to the death between two bitter rivals.

Let's take a look at the Fantasy Football matchups for each position and whether you should or should not play them.

Aaron Rodgers, Packers, Fantasy Football

Quarterback

Let's start with Rodgers, who had a tough performance against the Bears last week. He completed 18 of his 30 pass attempts for 203 yards, a touchdown, and no interceptions. Not exactly a dream performance from a Fantasy Football perspective.

Rodgers should have a much better game this week. He is going up against a good Vikings' defense, but he has a week under his belt in the new Matt LaFleur offense. Obviously, Rodgers is a must-play every week and that doesn't change in Week 2.

Cousins, on the other hand, completed eight of his 10 pass attempts for 98 yards and a touchdown. Green Bay has a much-improved offense, which should be cause for concern. That being said, Cousins is still a quality start this week as a QB1 due to the weapons at his disposal.

Running Back

Next up, we'll take a look at the running backs.

Dalvin Cook, Vikings

Aaron Jones is a risky play this week, to say the least. He came through with 39 yards on 13 carries in Week 1 and the Vikings have a deadly defensive front. Most leagues will have better options than Jones for this week, but as an RB2 he may be worth the risk of putting him in.

Dalvin Cook, on the other hand, is must-play material this week. Even though the Packers showed off a much-improved run defense last week, the Vikings are going to focus on establishing Cook throughout the game. His 111-yard and two touchdown performance last week showed that he is back at full strength and he also has PPR value out of the backfield this week.

Wide Receivers

This is where things get much more difficult.

Davante Adams is obviously a must-play every week, but there is another flashy option in Green Bay in Marquez Valdes-Scantling. He showed off some big-play potential last week and everyone knows that Rodgers loves him, but this week he should be firmly on the bench. Minnesota isn't going to give up huge chunks of yardage. Geronimo Allison is a sit as well.

Adam Thielen

Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs are two of the most lethal receivers in the game, but many are concerned after seeing Diggs' production last week. Don't let that scare you away from playing him. Both of these guys should be in your Fantasy Football lineups, with Thielen as a WR1 and Diggs as an easy WR2, WR3, or FLEX option.

Tight Ends

Finally, we come to the tight end position, where both teams have tough decisions for Fantasy Football players to make.

Jimmy Graham showed flashes last week with three catches for 30 yards and a touchdown. If you don't have an obviously better matchup with another tight end, Graham may be worth the risk. LaFleur loves utilizing tight ends and Rodgers wants to get his big guy the football, but he's far from a guarantee to have a big day.

Jimmy Graham, Packers

Kyle Rudolph is a sit option for most teams. If you don't have a better option than Rudolph, who didn't record a single reception last week, you're in trouble anyway. Minnesota may look to him a bit this week, but he doesn't have much Fantasy Football value against a Packers team who only gave up one catch for six yards to a Bears' tight end last week.
