What fans texted Jimmy Butler after his number went public

As expected, Jimmy Butler got a wave of messages after he made his phone number public during his press conference in Minnesota.

Jimmy Butler seemed willing to take on all comers, unexpectedly giving out his phone number to the many critics that had “beef” with him or anyone that wanted an interview, doing so during his Minnesota Timberwolves introductory press conference.

Due to the thousands that likely gave it a shot to try and reach the 6-foot-7 swingman, many opted to do the very next best thing when one person can't reach another through the phone — text him.
