The Green Bay Packers will be hosting the Minnesota Vikings in an NFC North clash in Week 2. When the Packers face the Vikings, the outcome is usually dependent on how Aaron Rodgers performed.

Dating back to 2016, Mike Zimmer seems to have Green Bay's number, having a record of 5-1-1 against the Packers in that span. As for Rodgers, the All-Pro quarterback has had his struggles in the past four games he was active against the Vikings.

In those four games, Rodgers has totaled just 983 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions. Minnesota has had a stalwart defense in recent seasons and it hasn't given the Packers quarterback fits.

Coming into Week 2, the Packers and Vikings will face each other once again for the 118th meeting against each other. Only this time around, Rodgers is in line to have a massive game against the Vikings.

The game on Sunday will be played at Lambeau Field, which bodes well for Rodgers. Throughout his entire career, Rodgers has performed noticeably better when he gets to appear in front of the home crowd.

To prove this, the gunslinging quarterback has gathered a 64-17-1 record at Lambeau. On the other hand, Rodgers isn't a fan of traveling, as he has a 40-44 record on the road.

Along with his home-field advantage, the Packers will also have a new-look offense for Zimmer to try and defend. In Week 1, Green Bay didn't get to display their refurbished offense under Matt LaFleur much. That was due to the Chicago Bears having arguably the best defense in the NFL.

However, this week, the Vikings have a stingy defense but they aren't in the same class as the Bears. That should allow Rodgers and LaFleur to dial up more plays to get the offense rolling.

Additionally, we should be able to see more of Aaron Jones and the Packers rushing attack. Getting the running game going will allow Davante Adams and the other pass-catchers to have more opportunities downfield.

That is exactly why Rodgers is going to show that he is still one of the NFL's best quarterbacks on Sunday.
