The signing of Antonio Brown to join Tom Brady and the loaded Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense has been received differently throughout the NFL world, but regardless of how people feel about it, he will be on the field a lot on Sunday.

On the daily Locked On Bucs podcast, hosts David Harrison and James Yarcho had a conversation about what they expect from the former All-Pro receiver’s Buccaneers debut on Sunday.

Harrison: We have to look at Week 9. The first week where Antonio Brown will be active and is expected to play. Bruce Arians has gone on record saying he is probably going to play. Not sure how much he’s going to play, but the full expectation is Antonio Brown will be active and will probably have a couple of packages or route combinations that he’s familiar with to run with Tom Brady and the Buccaneers offense, so we wanted to go in and — I thought about this earlier and — wanted to do a little bit of an over/under with you. So over/under, James, 22.5 snaps for Antonio Brown in Week 9?

Yarcho: Over. Without hesitation, over. I think when the numbers come out Monday morning and we can go through and look at all of them, I think Antonio Brown is going to be right around that 50 percent snap count number. I think whether he’s utilized is a different conversation altogether, but having him out there, especially if Chris Godwin is allowed to suit up and play, having Antonio Brown on the field, even just as a decoy, you have to respect the threat. Brady might throw him three or four targets in the first two drives just to show the Saints that he’s not afraid to use this guy that just walked in off the street, but kept himself in shape, that I’ve played with before. Brady played one game with him last year after one week of practice and guess what, he got him a touchdown.
