The Chicago Bears will try to keep their playoff hopes alive when they meet the Green Bay Packers in Week 15. If Chicago hopes to pull off the upset on the road, they will need a big-time performance from Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.

The Bears signed Clinton-Dix this previous offseason to bolster Chicago's secondary. Of course, Clinton-Dix spent his four and a half seasons with Green Bay before being traded to the Washington Redskins in 2018.

At the same time, Clinton-Dix joined the Bears to replace Adrian Amos. As many know, Green Bay signed Amos this offseason to a four-year, $36 million deal to steal him from their division rivals.

Provided that, Clinton-Dix will be motivated to prove his former team wrong for trading him last year. Above all, the veteran safety realizes that this game could decide whether or not Chicago is playing beyond December.

Coming into this game, Green Bay is boasting a 10-3 record as they sit atop the NFC North. Even though they've been inconsistent thus far, the Packers are one of the best teams in the NFC.

On the other hand, Chicago is amid a three-game winning streak. However, those three wins include beating the Detroit Lions, New York Giants, and the Dallas Cowboys. The game on Sunday will be a good litmus test on where Chicago currently is.

This season, Clinton-Dix has contributed 66 tackles, two fumble recoveries, five deflections, and two interceptions. In addition, he's also provided the Bears' defense with a pick-six in his first year with the team.

For the Packers, Aaron Rodgers doesn't tend to turn the ball over much. As a matter of fact, in his last 29 starts, Rodgers has only thrown four interceptions.

Additionally, Rodgers has shown that he has the Bears' number over the course of his career. In 22 games against the Bears, Rodgers has lit them up for 5,359 yards, 46 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. The yards and touchdowns are the most he has against a single team.

With that being said, Chicago could use some turnovers to stay within striking distance of the Packers. That is where Clinton-Dix becomes an X-Factor in this contest.

At the least, Clinton-Dix has plenty of experience facing Rodgers when the two faced one another in practice in Green Bay. It remains to be seen if his knowledge of Rodgers' tendencies will help him slow down the veteran quarterback.

After leading the NFL with 36 takeaways in 2018, Chicago's defense only has 16 takeaways thus far (17th in the NFL). It goes without saying that the Bears are going to need their defense to keep the game close on Sunday.
