The Indiana Pacers have a nice young core in Victor Oladipo, Malcolm Brogdon, Domantas Sabonis, and Myles Turner, but somehow they're already at a crossroads with several of them. According to The Athletic, Oladipo is “looking to move on” from the Pacers “this offseason,” and Turner may “possibly be in the same boat.”

On the daily Locked On Pacers Podcast, host Tony East explains why Myles Turner is more likely to be traded than Victor Oladipo.

Tony East: The other part of this report says that Myles Turner is possibly in the same boat as Victor Oladipo. That line ‘possibly' is interesting, because you know, that seems that this is unsourced. It seems like Turner's future is kind of rooted in the coaching hire right now. After they hire a guy who wants to go modern, one of the centers is gone, and it's probably Myles Turner.

Domantas Sabonis just became an all-star. Again, the coach could pick Turner over Sabonis, that's possible, but it makes sense that Turner could even think that he wants to go somewhere where he can either get more touches or play in a way that he feels is more beneficial to him.

That line that Turner is possibly in the same boat is not a sourced report, right? No one is coming out and saying Myles Turner is looking to move on from Indiana right now. It just says the situation could call for a Turner trade this offseason that makes sense. We've talked about that on this show before, we think he's the most likely guy to get moved.
