The world has been waiting for the dynasty in New England to end. Well guess what, it's not over just yet.

The Patriots won the AFC East once again and are hosting a playoff game. As New England prepares for what they hope will be another Super Bowl run, the NFL world will be debating the fate of one of the best quarterbacks who ever played.

Tom Brady is set to become a free agent after the season for the first time in his career. It is unknown what his value is at 42 years old but there are definitely some teams that could be interested. Teams such as the Indianapolis Colts and Carolina Panthers might be searching for a young quarterback of the future. Those aforementioned teams could bring Brady in for a season or two to help that young player.

The rumors of Brady leaving the Patriots in free agency were intensified by the fact that he put his house up for sale. This should be taken with a grain of salt because Brady has put properties on the market throughout his career without switching teams. Ultimately, Brady and the Patriots should want to remain together.

What is Brady's Fate in NE?

There is a huge subplot surrounding Foxborough as the playoffs begin. The biggest question is if Brady leaves, who will be under center for the Patriots next season?

New England added Brady's replacement years ago when they had both Jimmy Garoppolo and Jacoby Brissett on the roster. This proved to be premature as Brady won an MVP award and Super Bowl in the time since. If they were to draft a quarterback in the 2020 draft, it would make sense to bring Brady back so the young player can learn from the best.

Brady's frustration because of his lack of receivers is another reason why he could want out. This is an issue that New England is aware of and will take care of in the offseason. Brady has taken pay cuts numerous times throughout his career so that the Patriots could add pieces. This is something he should do again without hesitation, especially since he has made over $200 million in his playing career.

Brady and the Patriots have not discussed the future since they are still alive this season. But if the contract situation can be negotiated cleanly, there is no reason for Brady to leave. He has a ton of history in Foxbrough and a great relationship with owner Robert Kraft.

Nothing is impossible, but as we sit here today, it is hard to imagine Brady and New England parting ways.
