We have yet another superstar player in the NFL requesting a trade with Jalen Ramsey asking the Jacksonville Jaguars to move him to another team. As crazy as it may seem, the New England Patriots should go all-out to acquire Ramsey.

The Patriots are notorious for obtaining players that have some baggage that is associated with them. Most recently, they decided to sign Antonio Brown following his dramatic fallout with the Oakland Raiders.

As for Ramsey, the Jaguars cornerback doesn't have any legal issues but he does have some character concerns. During Sunday's game against the Houston Texans, Ramsey got into a heated altercation with head coach Doug Marrone on the sideline.

It isn't the first time that Marrone has had problems with Ramsey and his attitude. Nevertheless, the relationship between the Jaguars and the All-Pro cornerback seems to be irreparable at this point.

That's where the Patriots come swooping in to bring yet another talented player onto their roster, right? The possibility of New England acquiring Ramsey is slim, but that doesn't mean that they won't pull the trigger.

Currently, the Patriots already have a crowded secondary with Stephon Gilmore, Jason McCourty, and J.C. Jackson. That group has been phenomenal over the past year, as they've been crucial to the Patriots allowing zero touchdowns in their past three games dating back to the Super Bowl last year.

Is it possible that they could get even better on defense this season? By adding Ramsey, they would become nearly impossible to throw against with two All-Pro cornerbacks on opposite sides of the field.

The asking price for Ramsey is set at a first-round pick and possibly more, which could deter New England from picking up the phone. Nevertheless, Bill Belichick would absolutely love to bring in a 24-year-old player as talented as Ramsey onto his defense.

Over his first three seasons in the NFL, Ramsey has accumulated nine interceptions, 44 deflections, and a defensive touchdown. Due to his play on the field, he has been named to the Pro Bowl twice and was named an All-Pro in 2017.

The Patriots are already heavily favored to win the Super Bowl this season but before that, they may need to take down the Kansas City Chiefs. Having a star-studded secondary can be a recipe for success to slowing down Patrick Mahomes and company.

New England should strongly consider making an aggressive trade offer to the Jaguars.
