The Washington Wizards stayed resilient after lacking the usual hot starts that had characterized the team thus far this series.

Tied at 48 by the half, the Wizards quickly trailed by five as the Boston Celtics got quickly on the board thanks to a three-pointer and a couple of free throws from Amir Johnson.

From that point on, Washington went in an incandescent 26-0 run to dust out the Celtics, led by their All-Star point guard John Wall.

During the stint, Boston turned the ball over eight times and failed to get most of the 50-50 balls, as the Wizards turned the game into a track meet and excelled in the transition game.

Throughout the quarter, Washington made 12 straight field goals, totaling 42 points on 13-of-19 shooting from the floor including 4-of-6 from deep and an impeccable 12-of-12 from the stripe — carving up a sizable 22-point advantage to enter the fourth quarter.

The Wizards have proven to be a very explosive team at home and runs like this one are part of the reason this series is far from over.

If they manage to hold on and avoid a disastrous finish, it'll be a reset of the series as both teams meet on Wednesday for Game 5 at the TD Garden.
