UPDATE: Bradley Beal is active for the Washington Wizards' final game vs. the Charlotte Hornets.

Washington Wizards fans, rejoice. Franchise player and team savior Bradley Beal has been upgraded to questionable for the team's season finale against the Charlotte Hornets.

The news was reported by Wizards beat reporter for The Athletic, Fred Katz.

Beal previously injured his hamstring during the Wizards' pivotal matchup against the Indiana Pacers a week ago. Washington pulled off that victory in overtime, but Brad had to sit that extra period out and leave it to his trusty co-pilot Russell Westbrook.

This is obviously terrific news for both Wizards brass and fans alike. Beal's injury was previously ruled as relatively minor, but hamstring strains are always tricky and could be aggravated if not allowed to heal properly.

Beal could very well not suit up for D.C. against the Hornets out of precaution, but the fact that it's even a possibility is what's promising.

If it were up to the All-Star, he'd probably opt to play if allowed by team physicians. The Wizards' final game against Charlotte determines whether or not they finish the season as the No. 8 seed, or tumble down to No. 9 or 10.

With tiebreakers won against the Hornets and Pacers in hand, Washington holds its own fate and would face an undermanned Boston Celtics side with a win.
