With the Washington Wizards out of the playoff race, head coach Scott Brooks said earlier on Friday that star shooting guard Bradley Beal is the only player on the roster he's thinking about resting for the remaining six games of the season.

Beal, though, won't be sitting out on Friday against the Utah Jazz.

Bradley Beal has played in every game this season. It's been a terrible year in the nation's capital, but Beal has been the one bright spot.

In 76 games this year, Beal is averaging 26.0 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.5 assists. The Wizards' best player is shooting 47.6 percent from the floor, 35.4 percent from beyond the arc and 81.1 percent from the free-throw line.

Beal, who made his second All-Star team this season, has 11 double-doubles and two triple-doubles. The 25-year-old could make an All-NBA team this season.

The 25-year-old guard is a competitor and loves to play basketball. Just because Washington's season is over doesn't mean the sharpshooter is going to pack it in.

However, the Wizards should at least monitor's Beal's minutes moving forward. He currently leads the NBA in minutes per game at 37.6.

Washington enters Friday with a record of just 31-45. They are in the 11th spot in the Eastern Conference standings.
