Washington Wizards All-Star shooting guard Bradley Beal reportedly hasn’t decided whether to accept Washington’s $111 million extension offer or what his long-term future holds, according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

Beal has two years left on his current deal with the Wizards. Washington offered Beal a three-year extension worth $111 million this summer. The sharpshooter has until October to sign it.

Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal, a top Heat target as 2021 free agency approaches, hasn’t decided whether to accept Washington’s three-year, $111 million extension or what his long-term future holds, an associate said this week.

Agent Mark Bartelstein (who is not the aforementioned associate) said Wednesday there is “nothing new” regarding whether Beal has made a decision.

Beal averaged 25.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.5 assists last season for the Wizards while shooting 47.5 percent from the field, 35.1 percent beyond the arc and 80.8 percent from the free-throw line.

Under Beal's current contract, the Wizards owe the two-time All-Star $27.1 million next season and $28.8 million in 2020-21. Washington is hoping Beal signs the extension. Star point guard John Wall said a few weeks ago he believes Beal will sign it.

The Miami Heat are very interested in acquiring Beal, but so far, the Wizards have shown no interest in trading their All-Star guard.
