Another day, another loss for Bradley Beal and the Washington Wizards.

Beal, the league's leading scoring, dropped a 47 piece on Wednesday night against the New Orleans Pelicans. However, all his efforts went for naught with another disappointing defeat. After 14 games, the Wizards find themselves at the bottom of the East with  a 3-11 record.

Sure enough, the team's poor showing has left the superstar clearly unhappy. Following the 124-106 loss, Beal dropped some postgame comments which now has Wizards fans anxious about his future in the Capital city.

“It's tough. We wanna win. I wanna win. This is why I stayed. I wanna win (here). I figure this is the place I can get it done,” an emotional Bradley Beal said after the loss (via Fred Katz of The Athletic).

Beal has been on a tear in his ninth season with the Wizards, but the problem is he's been doing it all alone. Prior to Wednesday's contest, he was averaging a career-high 34.4 points per game on top of 5.4 rebounds and  4.8 assists.

After his 47-point performance against the Pelicans, Beal has now dropped six straight 30-plus point games, which include a 60-point explosion against the Philadelphia 76ers. Unfortunately, Washington has lost five of those six games.

Wednesday pretty much summed up how the season has gone so far for Beal and his Wizards. With Russell Westbrook out resting, Beal was the only focal point offense as he put up 37 shots to help him to get to his 47-point tally. Aside from him, it was only Robin Lopez and rookie Garrison Matthews who ended the night in double figures with 14 and 15, respectively.
