Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal has a message to Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys: pay Ezekiel Elliott.

Elliott is currently on a contract holdout with the Cowboys, with the star running back searching for a bigger pay from the $12.9 million he is set to make in the remaining two years of his contract.

The 24-year-old star led the NFL in rushing yards in 2018 with 1434 on 304 attempts. His 95.6 yards per game is also the best in the league. Despite this, however, he is only tenth among the best paid running backs.

With that said, Beal believes Elliott deserves to get the salary appropriate to his skills and status. And he took it to Twitter to send his message.

Certainly, Beal understands pouring your heart into a tremendous season and not seeing as much individual credit given. In Beal’s case, it was being snubbed to an All-NBA team last season despite putting up 25.6 points on a nightly basis and being the main man for the Wizards. For Elliott, it’s not receiving a fitting contract for his extremely important contributions to his team.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has already chimed in with some less-than-laudable statements on Elliott, so his future with the Cowboys remains in limbo.
