Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal responded to rumors about his future on Draymond Green's podcast on Thursday. The three-time All Star addressed a report regarding a potential trade with the 76ers involving Ben Simmons prior to Beal undergoing season-ending wrist surgery earlier this year. He was also asked about the reported interest from the Miami Heat should he become available this offseason. Beal can opt out of his contract and become a free agent at the conclusion of this season.

Bradley Beal was adamant about his commitment to Washington, while also leaving all possibilities on the table. He emphasized winning as his main priority, adding that he “want[s] to do it” with the Wizards. However, Beal also admitted that he's going to do what feels right for him:

“I can really make any decision I want… The money is awesome… But that also comes with, when you make that money, you want to win ball games. You want to be able to play for something. Right? I want to play in meaningful games. Right? I want to be playing in late June. That's what I want.”

Beal also voiced some level of frustration with the Wizards' middling tendencies. He cited the team's consistent “middle of the pack” finishes as a hindrance to their ability to improve season over season. The purgatory the Wizards find themselves in prevents them from drafting high enough to get a bonafide star, and limits the allure for free agents.

For now, Bradley Beal seems committed to Washington, but the elite scorer didn't exactly deny interest in the Heat or 76ers. Or anywhere else, for that matter.
