Head coach Scott Brooks of the Washington Wizards finally caught a break. Thanks to Bradley Beal and Russell Westbrook going video game mode in the last 10 seconds of their game against the Brooklyn Nets, the Wizards were able to steal their first win since early January. After the 149-146 win, the 55-year-old coach felt that he deserved to get a celebratory drink.

“That was the first game all year I had a White Claw.” Brooks said (via Bleacher Report).

That's definitely a well-earned seltzer.

Brooks' time in Washington hasn't been quite the bitter pill to swallow. His 4-11 start has been marred by trade rumors and disgruntled superstars. Add to that, his team has also been struggling with health as key players have missed a huge chunk of their games due to the league's health and safety protocols.

Even with the league's leading scorer spearheading Brooks' attack, the Wizards' magic so far this season has been lacking, to say the least. Bradley Beal has been the only lone star shining brightly and his consistent play has seemed to be unfit for such an inconsistent squad. While Russell Westbrook's debut in Washington has also been lackluster.

Now that they finally got another huge win after four terrible losses, Brooks can definitely put out a huge sigh of relief – even just for a night. Though they've managed to fall to the bottom of the league standings, the Wizards have managed to win their two meetings against the Nets which, for what it's worth, should mean something to Brooks and the rest of the Washington-based squad.
