Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal left Wednesday's game against the Golden State Warriors with a bruised sternum. The sharpshooter got X-Rays on his chest and the results came back negative.

Beal told reporters after the game that his breathing was all messed up due to the hits he took, via Fred Katz of The Athletic:

“It's alright,” Beal said. “I took a couple of elbows during the game. My breathing was all messed up. Felt like my chest, my ribs were out of place. But everything was good. X-Rays were negative.”

Bradley Beal played 19 minutes versus the Warriors and finished with 23 points while shooting 10-of-15 from the field, 1-of-4 from beyond the arc and 2-of-2 from the free-throw line.

The Wizards got blown out by the Warriors, losing by a final score of 144-122. Warriors star Stephen Curry erupted for 51 points. Washington is now 1-3 on the season.

The Wizards take on the Sacramento Kings Friday night. It's unclear if Bradley Beal will play. The 25-year-old is averaging 25.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists through four games. He's shooting 50.6 percent from the floor, 45.2 percent from 3-point range and 61.5 percent from the free-throw line. Expect Beal's free-throw percentage to go up as the season moves along.
