Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal is having a career year this season, but the All-Star guard vows not to get complacent.

Beal says he is always looking to improve his game, and that will continue this summer despite having a superstar-like season in 2018-19 for the Wizards.

“I’m big on always getting better,” Beal told Blair Berry of Sporting News. “Even my jump shot as good as it can be, it can always be better. My game is going to continue to excel and excel. I definitely still have a long way to go, [and] it’s definitely fun. I embrace it.”

Entering Tuesday, Bradley Beal has been a machine for the Wizards, who barring a miracle, are likely going to miss the playoffs this season.

Beal is averaging 25.9 points, 5.2 rebounds and 5.6 assists per contest while shooting 47.5 percent from the field, 35.2 percent from beyond the arc and 81.8 percent from the free-throw line. He's been the No.1 option on the team since All-Star point guard John Wall was ruled out for the season after undergoing season-ending heel surgery.

It's unfortunate we won't be able to see Beal in the playoffs. However, the guard will be working on his game all summer, which means he'll be even more lethal next season.
